There is photography for amateurs and professionals. If you are an amateur, using a point and shoot camera is better for a start. There are a few good points about point and shoot cameras. They are very user friendly in many ways. All that you have to do is to point your camera and snap away. However, point and shoot camera is not for you if you need more functions on the camera, and better, quality pictures.
