Digital Cameras - Is It Worth Having?

Traditional cameras use photographic film to capture images but were restricted to a small number of shots before the film had to be replaced; a situation which does not affect a digital camera. The lack of mechanical parts has meant that the size of these cameras is only dictated by the size of battery needed to power them. Since the images captured are in electronic form, this is a language recognized by computers.
